The Electrical Trades Union’s Queensland branch will decide in May at its annual conference if it wants to run election candidates against the ALP. The union has been campaigning against privatisation of Queensland Rail. David Jackmanson spoke to the ETU’s assistant state secretary, Allen Hicks, about the possibility they will challenge the ALP at election time.
