Man injured when Israeli soldiers boarded Gaza flotilla to speak in Brisbane on Wednesday

A man shot in the leg when Israeli soldiers stormed a ship carrying supplies to the Gaza Strip in May will speak at a meeting in Brisbane this Wednesday. Ahmed Talib and his wife Jerry Campbell were aboard the Mari Marmara when the soldiers boarded and took control of the ship. The ship was part of a flotilla organised by the Free Gaza Movement, which attempted to defy an Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip.

The meeting, organised by the Justice for Palestine organisation,  is at 6.30pm this Wednesday September 22nd at the Trades and Labour Council building at 16 Peel St, South Brisbane. The TLC building is a short walk from the Cultural Centre bus station and the South Brisbane train station. Click here for a Google Map.
