The Queensland Department of Child Safety will review its complaints process after a man from Toowoomba was wrongly accused of rape and incest

The 64-year-old spent 18 months trying to prove to the department that he was not a rapist after he sought a kinship order to see his granddaughter. At his own expense, he was forced to provide a DNA test and obtain a certificate from police stating he had no criminal record.
DCS acting director-general Betty Kill says “We had an email which was wrongly placed onto his file. I deeply regret that this error occurred and on that basis I apologise profusely to him.”
The man had been mistaken for another man jailed for fathering his own grandchild.

Exactly the same thing happened to me but NO apology, just a letter from the (then) minister Margaret Keech, informing me that *The minister cannot become involved in any ongoing case*.
When are these corrupt and misogynous people going to be investigated for ripping apart stable and happy families, based on spiteful and mischevious reports? So far NO minister has had the guts to to take on this most dysfunctional and inefficiant rabble.
