Homeless take to sleeping in bins

Brisbane city’s homeless are seeking shelter from the cold winter nights in commercial rubbish bins reports City News.

In a desperate attempt to escape the cold, some homeless have even resorted to living in the bins says City Councillor, DavidHinchcliffe. Councillor Hinchcliffe says a driver for commercial waste company, SITA Environmental Solutions Australia, had his run disrupted recently when a man sleeping in one of the bins he was lifting had to scramble to get out of the bin. Councillor Hinchcliffe says welfare organisations have been contacted
