Evidence ‘Flimsy’: High Court

Key evidence relied upon for the release of accused war criminal Dragan Vasiljikovich’s release was flimsy, says the High Court.

A report, published by the Organization for Security and Cooperation was used as the basis for allowing the prisoner to go free. Justice Heydon claimed that the evidence was second-hand, vague and too feeble to be relied upon.

Captain Dragan is accused of war crimes offenses allegedly committed in Croatia over a decade ago.
