Cancer Council Queensland looking for volunteers to help deliver vital cancer prevention and early detection advice to the Brisbane community

The councils Community Education Program is an adult education program which delivers free presentations to community and support groups, social clubs and workplaces.

Cancer Action Co-ordinator, Claire Massingham, says “We are looking for Speakers who are passionate about helping their community take control of their health. Our speakers are not considered experts, but they are specially trained to provide up-to-date information about cancer prevention and early detection.”

Community Speakers training will be held at Cancer Council Queensland’s Brisbane office, in Fortitude Valley on June 4 and 5. If you’re interested in participating you can visit Cancer Council Queenslands website for further detail.
