Mission Australia launch HUSH for Homelessness event, aimed to challenge participants to experience the ‘voiceless’ lives that homeless Australia’s lead.

Mission Australia are asking everyday Australians to be silent for an hour or more on Friday 14th May, and seek sponsorship from family, friends and workmates for their efforts. You can also pledge your support by sponsoring a HUSH champion, including Brisbane Broncos players Corey Parker, Justin Hodges and Israel Folau.

Australia’s biggest annual fundraising event to tackle homelessness, all money raised will go to Mission Australia’s services providing crisis care, transitional or medium-term accommodation and essential support for homeless men, women and children. Currently, on any given night in Australia, around 105,000 men, women and children are homeless with 43 per cent under 25 years old.
