National Indigenous TV Receives Federal Government Funding

The Federal Government’s $15.2 million commitment to National Indigenous Television will allow the station to broadcast for a further 12 months.

The chair of National Indigenous Television Terri Janke has welcomed the outcome following the announcement made by the Rudd government.

Ms Janke considers the television station vital for providing voices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and to showcase their heritage and culture on free to air television.
