Sex Pistols Magager Dies

Former Sex Pistols manager Malcom Mclaren dies at 64 after a long battle with cancer.

McLaren was born in North London and often associated himself in leading the capital’s avant garde art scene during the 70s.

McLaren and his then girlfriend Vivienne Westwood opened a King’s Road shop in 1971, later in 1974 it was renamed SEX.

The young, sexy, assassins were drawn to the store, who later became known as the Sex Pistols and under McLaren’s management The Sex Pistols shot to number one in the charts with God Save The Queen in 1977.
