Doomadge inquest hears submissions

The inquest into Cameran Doomadge’s 2004 death in police custody will hear submissions in Brisbane today.

The inquest is an appeal against the results of a first inquest, which found Senior Sergeant Chris Hurley responsible for Doomadge’s death, although a later trial found him not guilty.

Deputy Chief Magistrate Brian Hine presides over the new inquest, which began last month
