Two Day Queensland Population Summit

The Bligh Government will tomorrow be hosting a two day summit to deal with population growth in South East Queensland.

Simon Baltais of the Queensland Conservation Council has criticised the summit as being focused on managing population growth as opposed to controlling it.

The event will be held at the Queensland State library, and will feature panel discussions and speeches on topics such as sustainability and growth management at local, state and federal levels.
