Buckle-up the kids

New Queensland laws on child car restraints come into action today.

Children up to 7 years are required to have special restraints, which include harnesses and booster seats.

The driver penalty for incorrect restraints is a $300 fine and three demerit points. More information can be found at www.transport.qld.gov.au
