Nuclear Testing Compensation Claims

Civilians and military servicemen affected by British nuclear testings on Australian soil are seeking compensation from the British Government.

Britain conducted numerous nuclear testings in the Australian outback throughout the 1950’s and 1960’s in remote towns such as Woomera and Coober Pedy.

Victims of the nuclear testings claim that adequate warnings and protection were not provided and they suffer from diseases and disabilities such as cancer, skin disease and deformities.

QC Cherie Booth will represent those seeking compensation and hopes to commence legal action by May.
