Some fats good for you says Centre for Eye Research

A new study into geriatric eyesight has found that eating some fats can prevent their deterioration in old age.

The Centre for Eye Research found that you should eat 100 milliliters, or seven tablespoons of olive oil a week to improve eyesight.

They are almost 50 percent less likely to contract age-related mascular degeneration than those who only eat about 1 milliliter a week.

People who eat foods containing omega-3 fat are also less likely to develop early AMD.
