Great Barrier Reef drilled for information

A group of international scientists are set to study the coral of the Great Barrier Reef in the hopes of finding out how the Pacific Ocean looked in the past.

The ABC reported that the coral drill will provide evidence to support the occurrence of climate change since the last ice-age.

This drill is one of many in the project that started seven years ago and will show how sea levels and water temperatures have changed over time.
