Rally against black deaths in custody 1pm today outside Police HQ

A community rally against black deaths in custody will be held at 1pm today outside Queensland Police Headquarters at 200 Roma St, Brisbane City. Rally organisers are demanding a new Royal Commission into Black Deaths in Custody, and an end to killings and bashings of Aboriginal prisoners. Brisbane Aboriginal community worker Sam Watson spoke to us about the rally, and also talked to us about a recent case where an Aboriginal man was seriously assaulted by police in Far North Queensland
