More calls to Gold Coast Drug Council

The Gold Coast Drug Council has had an increase of calls over the holiday period the ABC reports.

With double the number of calls than usual, clients are being placed on waiting lists, referred to other organisations or turned away.

The limited beds available at the GCDC building also means that people are being put on waiting lists for other facilities.
