Kepler Finds Five New Planets

The Kepler telescope, sent out to space by Nasa on a three year mission, has discovered five new planets in another solar system.

The Kepler is out in search of possibly habitable planets, however these new discoveries are far too hot for Nasa’s liking, with temperatures over a thousand degrees celsius.

It is expected to take the Kepler the whole three years to find and verify Earth-sized planets, but experts say its progress is reassuring that it will complete the task.
